December 29: Embrace Consistency – Make stillness and contemplation a non-negotiable part of your life. Discover how to sustain these practices moving forward.
Pick Your Practice:
During the challenge, you’ll choose between a specific or holistic gratitude practice:
Specific Gratitude Practice: Focus on one area of your life where you want to shift your perspective or attitude. This could be a relationship, your career, or any situation where a fresh outlook is needed.
Holistic Gratitude Practice: Embrace gratitude as a way to elevate your overall perspective on life, creating a broader sense of appreciation and positivity.
Daily Meditation:
We will be using a simple meditation design outlined below.
Set a Timer: Begin by setting a timer for 5 minutes (feel free to add more time if desired).
Find Your Seat: Sit in a comfortable position, ensuring your spine is tall and aligned. Roll your shoulders up toward your ears, then relax them down your back.
Check-In: Take a moment to notice the current state of your body and mind.
Close Your Eyes: Soften your gaze or gently close your eyes.
Focus on Your Breath:
Breathe in slowly through your nose.
Exhale even more slowly.
If your mind begins to wander, gently bring your focus back to your breath.
Reflect: When the timer ends, take a moment to notice any sensations in your body and explore whether any emotions are connected to those sensations.
It’s that simple.
