Last weekend, I fell into a spiral of overthinking.

A few things played into this process: too much alone time, hormones, and unrealized expectations. I found myself ruminating on the past and conjuring up worst-case scenarios, hurting my own feelings with the thoughts in my head.

Writing calms a racing mind.

Instead of sliding down dark thought spirals, practice a daily brain dump to give your thoughts a place to land.
